Savanna Birding holiday in Uganda  Grey Headed Kingfisher This holiday package is specifically designed to fit eco-travelers who would wish to enjoy leisurely game and bird watching drives in Uganda’s untamed savanna parks including the incredible Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Park. The expedition is intended to give an opportunity to versatile birders, combining birding with other natural history or cultural interests like scenery viewing, nature photography, big game viewing, etc. The intent of this holiday is to give a chance to groups that would need plenty of time to absorb a site's natural history and bird life at a more relaxed pace. Most of the accommodation will involve holiday camping. Itinerary Day One: Arrival and travel to Murchison Falls National Park. Stay at Red Chili Camp Day Two: Game drive to the top of the Murchison Falls Day Three: Morning launch cruise to the bottom of the falls. In the afternoon, game drive to the delta Day Four: All-day drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Camping at the Student’s Hostel Day Five: Game drive to Ishasha sector in the morning; in the afternoon, visit the Kyambura gorge. Day Six: Morning game drive to Kasenyi trail and afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel Day Seven: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Stay at the Students Centre Day Eight: Boat ride along the Lake Mburo in the morning. In the afternoon, follow one of the main game trails guided by the site guides / rangers.
